Fabric requirements are just 3 fat quarters and 9" of binding (11" of binding if making both inside pockets as bobbin pockets)

Fewer pieces, faster cutting and construction on this case! Included are cutting instructions and diagrams for fat quarters and interfacing. If you use my cutting diagrams, both inner pockets will have the same fabrics. You can use additional fabrics if you want more variety. Step by step tutorial style directions with color photos.

There are several options you can make with this pattern. Pick the inner pockets that suit your needs!

Pattern features and is written for an outer front all fabric zipper pocket and two inner lining pockets. One vinyl zipper pocket with a built in felt thread bed on the inner right side. 12 vinyl floss bobbin pockets on the left. My bobbin pockets are designed to be a bit more roomy.

If you don't use bobbins, you can alternatively make two vinyl zipper pockets. Place your felt bed on your preferred side! And consider having one of your zipper pulls close at the bottom, to avoid bulk with both pulls at the top when they’re both zipped shut. You choose what you like!

If you want lots of bobbin pockets and make matching sides, it will house 24 bobbins. I do push my over dyed floss cards into the pockets on occasion, and even dmc skeins. Place your felt bed on your preferred side!

Fully lined in all areas.
Finished size is 10" High x 18" Wide.

**Skill level: Intermediate/ advanced beginner. Knowledge of general sewing and binding is needed. I DO NOT include final outer binding instructions, it is done the same as a quilt or other item. Please use your preferred method. I do very briefly explain how I sew my binding on, but specific instruction is not included. Zipper and vinyl experience is helpful but not mandatory, in my opinion.
